PSA/VPSA Oxygen Plant Technology in Medical Settings

PSA (Pressure Swing Adsorption):
As previously mentioned, PSA involves passing compressed air through a vessel filled with zeolite molecular sieves. These sieves act as adsorbents, selectively trapping nitrogen molecules while allowing oxygen to pass through. VPSA (Vacuum Pressure Swing Adsorption):

Then a vacuum is applied to remove the nitrogen, regenerating the zeolite for the next cycle.
